How does it work?
EZ PRF Gel gel is prepared by drawing the blood and placing it in a centrifuge, which separates the platelets and growth factors from components. The process combines your body’s own PRF with albumin to create a natural filler that may be safer and more versatile than most injectables because it uses your body’s own blood components. The PRF is transformed into a gel-like consistency resulting in easy application. The gel has amazing healing properties that smooths line and wrinkles, restores volume, and promotes collagen and elastin for younger looking skin.
Am I a good candidate?
Anyone in overall good health who would like to diminish visible signs of aging such as dark circles, hollows, lines and wrinkles, and loss of facial volume would be the perfect candidate.
How long will it last?
The plasma gel provides immediate volumizing effects and is maintained for 3-6 months. The long-term effects of collagen production will continue for up to 6-12 months and can depend on your lifestyle, activity level, and metabolism. More than one treatment may be required for long lasting results.
What should I avoid before treatment?
You should avoid any alcohol for 48 hours before treatment and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) drugs for 2 weeks before treatment. Avoid Omega 3s, fish oil and ibuprofen for two weeks before treatments. Hydration is key when it comes to obtaining enough quality PRF and better results. Do not use any retinol and acid products for 3 days before your appointment to avoid skin irritation
What is the downtime and what should I avoid after treatment?
As with any injection you may experience mild bruising and swelling which should resolve in a few days. It is best to avoid touching your face, wearing make-up, and high intensity physical activity for 24 hours.
