How does Botox work?
Botox is injected directly into the muscles that are causing the wrinkles by using a very tiny needle. It blocks the nerve impulses from the brain telling the targeted muscle to move. This in turn inhibits the muscle from contracting, thereby relaxing the skin that lays over the muscles to the point where the wrinkles gradually soften up and often times disappear all together.
