Radiesse

What is Radiesse?

Radiesse is an injectable collagen stimulator used as a filler that works by restoring volume to smooth out the signs of aging. Once injected, it stimulates the production of natural collagen and volumizes areas of the face such as cheekbones, jawline, and chin. Hyper-diluted Radiesse has been proven to improve firmness and skin texture in the face and other areas of the body such as the neck, decolletage, buttocks, thighs, abdomen, knees, hands, and arms. Hyper-diluted Radiesse is a bio-stimulator for skin tightening as well as a volume replacement.

How does it work?

The particles in the injection solution, CaHa, stimulates the production of collagen already in the body, helping the body build its own natural collagen and allowing your skin to produce more of its own filler.

Radiesse FAQ

Who is a candidate?

Radiesse is an excellent option for anyone with mild to moderate laxity. This treatment will strengthen the skin and improve the appearance of wrinkles. If you have a lidocaine allergy you would not be a candidate for Radiesse.

When does it start working and how many treatments are needed?

Radiesse begins producing collagen and elastin in as little as 4-5 weeks. 1-3 initial treatments are typically needed to achieve desired results. Maintenance is recommended every 12-18 months.

Does it hurt?

Radiesse is mixed with Lidocaine to make it more comfortable. Our skilled providers use advanced methods while performing the treatment to make it painless.

Are there any risks or side effects?

Radiesse injections are completely safe – the product is calcium based, similar to minerals already found in the body. As with any injection, there is a slight chance for swelling and bruising. The redness and swelling at the injection site tend to fade quickly.
