How long will it last?

After your procedure, it may take up to a couple months for your skin to look more voluminous since collagen synthesis can take months before finishing a complete cycle. What should I avoid before treatment?

You should avoid ibuprofen, aspirin, and alcohol for 24-48 hours before the appointment. You may also want to talk to your doctor about stopping any blood thinners a couple of weeks before.

What is the downtime and what should I avoid after?

As with any injection you may experience mild bruising and swelling which should resolve in a few days. It is best to avoid touching your face, direct sunlight, wearing make-up, and high intensity physical activity for 24 hours.
